Manages the day-to-day operations for the Tenet Transfer Center. Manages Transfer Center staff to ensure physicians, patients, nurses and other medical professionals are provided the highest quality service during the transfer process. Develops Transfer Center protocols that focus on patient-centered care, to ensure transfers are managed effectively. Monitors call/transfer volume to ensure that resources are deployed appropriately. Works with organizational stakeholders to ensure that transfers are placed appropriately with the Tenet facilities, or transferred to a different level of care as appropriate as well as manages schedule and assists with training. In conjunction with the Director, responsible for hiring, training, evaluating, and the performance management of Transfer Center staff. Works in conjunction with the director on iniatives and strategy for growth and development, as well as outreach initiatives. Will handle transfer center calls if volume necessitates.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: N/A
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 4-6 years’ experience in a critical care, transfer center, emergency or acute care setting with
leadership experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Prior experience managing a Transfer Center Program or management experience

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Florida RN License, Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau Reports, Vizio
