Overall understanding of IT infrastructure inclusive of server, storage, network, database, systems, DR Strategies and practices
Knowledge of AWS Cloud - Infrastructure
Knowledge of Network and Storage
Knowledge of Server Virtualization, Automation
Experience in Change Management, ITIL
Experience in client management and managing escalations

Roles & Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Program planning and forecasting of project schedules and budget
- Planning DC Migration to AWS Cloud Platform, identifying pre-requisites, risks and mitigation strategies
- Planning move groups identifying dependencies across infrastructure components for seamless migration from DC to AWS Cloud Platform
- Coordination and managing change management and approvals
- Working with team to identify tasks to be automated as part of migration
- Should be able to envision future state of infrastructure and contribute to strategic discussion on transformation initiative specifically - Data Center Consolidation, Cloud Migration, Infrastructure Automation
- Conduct strategic discussions with Client for Infrastructure projects with respect to
- Understanding and defining requirements
- Effort estimation
- Negotiations
- Defining pre-requisites and risks for the program/projects
- Project planning
- Identification of risks and mitigations strategies
- Program Status reporting and communication with TCS and Client Leadership
- Stakeholder management and building collaborative environment to drive complex transformational initiative
- Collaborating with various teams at client and within TCS for delivering program objectives
- Collaborating and managing third party vendors and partners
- Effectively managing projects under programs and holding project managers and stakeholders accountable for their respective delivery
- Effectively manage client expectations, escalations and mitigate the same
- Review project deliverables for content and quality
- Identifying and recruiting team members required for the program
Team management - Managing effective utilization of team, driving efficiency, motivating team to delivery the outcomes
Salary Range- $120,000-$155,000 a year
