The transient position reports to the Director of End-User Support. As an entry-level position, the incumbent may be assigned to various technical tasks and teams as needed. Normal ITG office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; your work schedule will be during these work times. Regular attendance is required to perform the functions of this position. Incumbent will maintain a customer-oriented awareness in acknowledging and responding to needs as they occur that customer satisfaction is met at all times. Essential Position Functions & Duties: 98% As a transient, you will work closely with the end user support team under direct supervision from the director of end user support. Incumbent will also take directions and training from higher-level analysts. In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting end users. With a focus on computer data sanitization and properly disposing of state equipment. Examples of work: Data sanitization of computer equipment Computer imaging, setup, and configuration Provide technical maintenance and support to LSUHSC-S Upgrades and configurations Audio/Video Support Other projects throughout the ITG department, as needed Marginal Functions: 2% Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
