If you like working with your hands, solving problems, and keeping things running, this job's for you. As a Transit Mechanic, you'll work on buses, vans, and service vehicles that keep Athens-Clarke County moving every day. You'll be part of a small, skilled team that takes pride in doing the job right - safely and efficiently.

Uniform and shoe allowances - we even provide the uniform laundry service.
Steady work week (Mon 12:30pm - 9:00pm, Tues-Fri 9:00am-5:30pm) with optional overtime.
Biweekly pay based on experience starting at $25.47-$30.34/hr
Training - on the job training for your CDL
Full benefits package: health, dental, vision, and retirement
Job stability with the Athens-Clarke County Government.
