This position is focused on collaboration within an existing advisor practice that is expanding its financial planning capabilities — providing an opportunity to deliver the kind of comprehensive, integrated planning that high-net-worth clients are increasingly seeking.Someone successful at this role can execute to retain and deepen every client relationship with the quality of planning they receive. The right planner steps into meaningful work from day one across a growing Northern California footprint.About Our ProcessThe AmeriFlex Group has developed a proprietary succession and transition marketing system — Retire SuccessionFully — built from direct experience managing advisor transitions across multiple markets. The process is structured, relationship-first, and guided by a defined communication and client retention strategy. The process includes:We identify and qualify the practice connection. Advisor relationship management is handled at the firm level, allowing the incoming planner to remain focused on clients and planning delivery. The incoming planner is placed in the same office, co-serving clients alongside the existing advisor. Both parties are prepared during the process by the AmeriFlex team. Practices are typically $70–100M in AUM — established households with meaningful complexity. These are ready for a more integrated planning relationship across tax strategy, estate planning, retirement income, and transition planning. As part of the position, the incoming planner also has access to shared planning work across TAG's existing client books — providing meaningful professional engagement, time to learn the firm's systems, and a measured path into the role.Scope of the RoleThe Transitional Wealth Planner serves as the primary planning professional within the office, delivering comprehensive financial planning to an established HNW client base and expanding the depth of the client experience over time.Comprehensive financial planning across retirement income, tax strategy, estate planning, and life transition planningIntroduction and implementation of planning-driven investment strategies through eMoney®, deepening the integration of planning and portfolio managementActive co-service with the existing advisor, with intentional relationship-building as the foundation of long-term client retentionLead planning voice for the office planning and operations teams, supported by the AmeriFlex Premier+ national planning benchCollaboration with the broader team on complex planning cases, strategy development, and planning innovationCompensationBase salary ranges from $120,000–$175,000 depending on experience and credentials. The compensation structure is designed to reward planning excellence and client stewardship, not transactional activity. Additional compensation opportunities include:Opportunity to earn revenue share on planning-driven work, including client introduces new assets to the firm outside the assigned existing practice, 1031 exchanges, fixed insurance placements, and similar strategies.Full reimbursement for CPWA® coursework and examination costs.
