Transmission Line Construction Team is now hiring an equipment operator! Join us and be part of a team that works on LCRA projects all around Texas. You will be trained to safely work on transmission lines and foundations using a variety of equipment. As your knowledge and skillset increase, you will be trusted with more independence and training, with the goal of becoming a Transmission Equipment Operator Specialist. How You’ll Contribute:
- Operate and maintain equipment like bucket trucks, excavators, drill rigs, skid steers, and boom trucks.
- Learn and follow all safety, environmental and departmental policies and procedures.
- Help construct, maintain and repair transmission lines.
- Build rebar cages, concrete forms, and assist in pouring concrete foundations.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Safely climb wood and steel transmission structures to extreme heights.
How You’re Qualified:
- Zero or more years of experience in operating large equipment, such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, cranes, tractor trailers, farm equipment or other machinery.
- Driver's license
How You’ll Stand Out:
- Previous experience working with large volumes of concrete.
- Previous experience on transmission or distribution lines.
- Hold a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
