Description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $82.98hr - $87.98hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited US curriculum or equivalent from outside the US.
  • 3+ years of cumulative experience in engineering and design.
  • Ability to travel to and from project-related functions approximately 20% of the time.
  • Strong familiarity with GO 95, NESC, and industry transmission line standards and construction practices.
  • Strong familiarity with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and related software.
  • Skills in project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve problems of moderate scope using standard solutions.
  • Independently plan work under general direction with periodic reviews for technical accuracy.
  • Perform functions of Associate level Engineer as needed.
  • Provide technical expertise, conduct engineering analyses, studies, and develop conceptual designs.
  • Present findings to internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Conduct walkdowns and design review meetings.
  • Prepare technical documents including design criteria, scope documents, specifications, and reports.
  • Develop, evaluate, and recommend alternative project proposals.
  • Solicit, prepare, and evaluate contracts and proposals from engineering consultants.
  • Review consultant contracts for technical compliance.
  • Interpret and apply applicable codes and regulations.
  • Participate in developing restoration plans and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Approve reports, new drawings, and revisions to existing drawings.
  • Respond promptly to facility failures in emergencies.
  • Represent the organization to government bodies for assigned projects.

  • Experience in electrical transmission line engineering for 115kv 500kv.
