Transmission Line Engineer

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee design reviews/validation procedures
• Ensure accuracy and safety of the design of high voltage transmission lines usingPLS-CADD
• Establish quality standards aligned with industry best practices
• Develop/implement quality control procedures
• Mentor/train junior staff with varying levels of experience
• Communicate with project managers to align quality goals with schedule/budget

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or electricalengineering or engineering technology
• 5+ years of power utility design
• LicensedProfessional Engineer (PE)
• Proficient in PLS CAD and AutoCAD
• Expert in the analysis of transmission structures
• Ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations
• ValidDriver’s License is required

Salary is commensurate with experience.
