Transmit Core Developer

Location: Brooklyn, Ohio (Remote)

Role Overview

This position is focused on the design, development, configuration, and support of customer identity and authentication solutions. The role involves collaboration with cybersecurity, digital banking, fraud, authentication, and application development teams to create secure and frictionless customer onboarding and login experiences. Key areas of focus include identity orchestration, passwordless authentication, MFA, risk-based authentication, and integration with banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement authentication and identity management solutions using Transmit Security.
• Build and maintain customer identity journeys, registration flows, login flows, MFA enrollment, and account recovery processes.
• Integrate Transmit Security APIs and SDKs into web and mobile banking applications.
• Configure identity orchestration workflows and adaptive authentication policies.
• Support passkey and passwordless authentication initiatives.
• Collaborate with fraud, risk, cybersecurity, and digital banking teams to improve customer security and user experience.
• Troubleshoot authentication issues, integration defects, and production incidents.
• Participate in architecture reviews and ensure compliance with security and banking standards.
• Create technical documentation, support procedures, and implementation standards.
• Assist with vendor engagement and platform upgrades.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 8 years of Transmit Core Development experience and 10+ years of software development experience is required.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with Transmit Security and Mosaic Platform.
• REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML.
• Java, JavaScript, .NET, or similar enterprise development platforms.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM).
• MFA, FIDO2, WebAuthn, Passkeys.
• API security, token management, and encryption technologies.
• Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments).
• Agile development and DevSecOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking or financial services.
• Knowledge of customer authentication and fraud prevention solutions.
• Familiarity with customer onboarding/KYC integrations.
• Experience with identity orchestration platforms.
• Experience with vendor platforms such as Okta.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, IAM certifications, or cloud certifications are a plus.
