• The BMT Coordinator manages the entire lifecycle of a patient's transplant journey-from the initial workup and insurance authorization to the post-transplant follow-up. This is a high-level coordination role that requires deep clinical knowledge of oncology/hematology, regulatory compliance, and excellent communication skills.
• Provides coordination of all aspects of the transplant service in order to maintain an organized and efficient program and ensure quality patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process to ensure appropriate patient care is provided in a cost effective, quality driven, and patient focused manner. Collects pertinent social, psychological, developmental and spiritual data from the patient, significant others and other health care team members.
• Performs as ongoing assessment, formulates nursing diagnosis and goals, plan appropriate interventions, and evaluates the outcome of the interventions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse: TX
• 2 year of direct nursing experience
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
• BLS
• ACLS
