Job Summary:

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is expanding its liver transplant program.  We are actively seeking a full-time Liver Transplant Surgeon to join our fast-growing program.


Qualified Candidates:

  • Board eligible or certified in Transplant Surgery
  • Transplant experience is required
  • Join three full-time transplant surgeons
  • Excellent communications skills required, be good at fostering relationships with referring physicians and should enjoy a collaborative environment with a friendly, supportive group of physicians
  • Expertise in all aspects of liver disease management, transplant services and procedures including living donor liver transplant and comprehensive cancer care
  • Professional development opportunities in teaching, clinical research, mentorship, leadership, and community service available

  • 455-bed statutory teaching hospital serving Pinellas County from three campuses
  • Offers several specialty services including Breast Institute, Cardiovascular Services with Advanced Heart Failure Care (Left Ventricular Assist Device, Heart Transplant), Kidney and Liver Transplant, Hepatobiliary Care (kidney, liver, and gall bladder), Orthopedic/Total Joint Care, Spine, and Neurologic Care, Robotic Surgery, and Wound Care Services with Hyperbaric Medicine
