Key Responsibilities:

• Support the daily planning and coordination of a local fleet, ensuring efficient and timely routing for deliveries and collections within the pallet network.
• Provide clear dispatch instructions and complete thorough driver debriefs to maintain service quality, compliance, and accurate operational records.
• Work closely with customers, partners, and network members to ensure smooth operations, proactive communication, and quick resolution of issues.
• Manage a range of operational and administrative duties, including updating systems, monitoring job statuses, and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Respond to queries confidently via email, phone, and face‑to‑face interactions, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
• Assist with on‑site duties to support the depot operation, including coordinating freight, monitoring inbound/outbound movements, and supporting wider warehouse activities when required.
• Help maintain service performance standards through effective communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Contribute to a safe and compliant working environment by following company processes and supporting depot safety practices.
• Play an active role in maintaining strong network relationships, ensuring trailer fill, service KPIs, and daily operational targets are met.

Required Experience:

• Proven administrative experience with strong accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with customers, drivers, and colleagues at all levels.
• Good local geographical knowledge of the area is highly beneficial.
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage daily deadlines.
• Proactive, solution‑focused mindset with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Capable of working collaboratively within a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
