Primary Duties and Responsibilities

In this exciting role the functions of the Transport RN will include positioning, transferring and transporting patients to and from various departments or locations by wheelchair, bed, or gurney and lifting, turning, transferring and repositioning patients requiring moderate to total assistance. The clinical nurse is a professional Registered Nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients using the nursing process in accordance with the standards of professional nursing practice. The clinical nurse performs in the professional role as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA), engaging in activities related to ethics, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality improvement, leadership, collaboration, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization, environmental health, and patient advocacy as appropriate to clinical nursing practice. This role will be focused on transporting monitored patients throughout the facility, assisting with emergency response, and supporting inpatient and ED units.

Salary range: $65.76-$97.76/Hourly

Job Qualifications

• CA RN License

2 years minimum ICU experience

BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

ACLS certification from the American Heart Association

National Certification preferred

Strong sense of integrity and work ethic
