Summary: Transport Technician is responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation support for new patient admissions and discharges from the Substance Recovery Unit. This includes assisting in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for clients in transit and throughout the unit.

Education

• Associate degree in human services area or higher preferred
• High school diploma or General Education Development Equivalent

Required Experience/Skills

• 1 year clinical experience in health or human service agency, preferably drug and alcohol treatment setting
• 1 year or more driving passengers with medical complexities and/or substance use disorders
• Clean driving record with the DMV
• Proof of valid driver's license in Pa

21 Years of age or older

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Certified Recovery Specialist preferred (CRS)
