Transportation Aide 2 - Night Shift

This position is a second-level transportation aide responsible for performing a variety of patient and equipment transfers within a hospital setting, utilizing transportation software and technology.

• It involves safely transporting patients via wheelchairs, stretchers, and hospital beds to different hospital areas, as well as moving medical equipment, labs, and supplies.
• The role includes operating elevators, disinfecting transport equipment, and performing other assigned duties.
• Qualified candidates need a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and in-house biohazard training.
• Strong communication, customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in stressful situations are essential.
• Preferred experience includes healthcare or hospital transport.
• The job entails exposure to infectious materials, emergency situations, and requires PPE use, standing for long periods, and physical tasks like lifting and pushing equipment.
