Moves patients to and from clinical, ancillary, surgery and support areas via wheelchair, bed or stretcher as requested to include transport of patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips, Foley catheters and other special equipment.

EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
Previous employment in a healthcare setting i.e., CNA, Rehab technician, EMT, ED technician.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Must be knowledgeable in medical terminology and basic computer skills.
Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language.
Ability to transport patients to various hospital locations; physical condition and emotional stability adequate to meet the demands of the position; able to push/pull an occupied patient bed.

Pay Range is $25.68 to $30.53 / hour
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
