Drive a school bus route as needed.Qualifications EducationCertification High School Diploma GED preferred. Possess or obtain a class B CDL with &ldquoP” & &ldquoS” endorsements have or be eligible for state certification as a school bus driver.Special Knowledge SkillsKnowledge of steam cleaning equipment vehiclebus wash machine.Experience Previous experience with vehicle washing equipment preferredMajor Responsibilities and Duties Maintain the cleanliness of school buses and all district vehicles. Maintain bus wash machine throughout the year in a safe and efficient manner. Wash all trip buses as needed. Follow a bus wash schedule for all route buses. Use machinery with moving parts. Must sweep mop and use a hand brush for scrubbing as necessary. Must wash exterior interior and clean windows of buses and ECISD vehicles. Must perform all other duties assigned by the Transportation Operations Manager.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesManage students while driving a bus.Working Conditions Must work on slipperyuneven surfaces work with cleaning solvents as well as body fluids when the situation presents itself.
