We are seeking a relationship-driven, strategic Carrier Development Manager to strengthen carrier partnerships, improve network performance, and support long-term growth. This role serves as the bridge between carriers, operations, and sales while developing a preferred carrier network that drives service excellence and profitability.
What You Will Do
Build and maintain relationships with core and high-volume carrier partners.
Conduct regular touchpoints, quarterly business reviews, and annual in-person meetings.
Understand carrier networks, capacity, strategic lanes, and growth objectives.
Serve as the primary liaison between carriers, operations, and sales teams.
Provide carrier scorecards and actionable performance feedback.
Partner with operations to align freight opportunities with carrier networks.
Monitor service issues and proactively resolve carrier concerns.
Recruit new carriers through outreach, referrals, industry events, and market expansion initiatives.
Oversee carrier onboarding to ensure readiness and compliance.
