This position will be based out of Seattle, Puyallup, or Silverdale, Washington. This position can work a hybrid schedule coming into the office at least 2‑3 days per week for team and client collaboration, mentorship, and integration.Your Role on the TeamAssist in the design of transportation infrastructure for cities and counties throughout the Puget Sound Region, including:Roadways, intersections, and corridorsBicycle and pedestrian facilitiesHighway and freeway improvementsFish passage culvertsTraffic control and signing/striping plansAssist in the development of roadway plans, profiles, and cross sections using industry‑standard design software.Assist in the development of engineering documents such as plans, estimates, and technical reports.Coordinate with project managers, senior engineers, and other disciplines.Contribute to roadway design elements such as horizontal and vertical alignments, storm drainage systems, traffic control plans, and ADA‑compliant pedestrian facilities.What You Bring to the TeamBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field1+ years of experience in transportation engineering or related field.EIT or ability to obtain within 1 year.Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and interest in transportation design.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Excellent communication, organization and problem‑solving skills.Experience with Civil 3D or MicroStation.Why Join Parametrix?Employee Ownership & Great Benefits As a 100% employee‑owned company, you will share in and contribute to Parametrix's success.
