Position at Sea-Logix, LLC

Job Duties:
Prepare, process and maintain documentation related to domestic and international shipments, including coordinating the pick-up and delivery of cargo to and from customers.
Assist the Sea-logix, LLC Dispatcher in various areas incidental to dispatch.
Work with various ports and terminals resolving issues related to Sea-Logix, LLC.
Coordinate pick-up and delivery of third party equipment.
Prepare documentation, monitor inventory, aging and demurrage of third party equipment and facilitate the return of equipment to various ports.
Maintain and coordinate mandated RFID tags for Sea-Logix, LLC trucks.
Process mail for pickup: runs postage for standard USPS mail, creates waybills for Fed-Ex service, coordinates pick-up for UPS service.
Receive and distribute all inbound and mail and parcels from USPS, Fed-Ex, UPS, etc.
Examine, record, and input Haz Documentation.
Update dispatch systems, as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ years of related experience in dispatching and line haul carriage operationspreferred
Able to competently perform job duties described above
Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment, prioritize projects and deliverables, and interact effectively with cross-functional teams
Good quantitative and analytical thinking skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook: Basic level of skill
Proficiency with use of operations management software including reporting functions
Available for shift work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must have a valid Transportation Worker Identity Credential (TWIC) card within 90 days of commencement of position
Physical Capabilities Required:
Work in an office environment
Lift up to 20 pounds
