What You’ll Do as a Transportation Coordinator:
In this role, you will help manage and optimize daily operations by:
- Dispatching and scheduling transportation services for zTrip programs and clients
- Serving as a routing specialist for on-demand services
- Monitoring trips and adjusting routes in real time to maintain on-time performance
- Coordinating driver availability and communicating with clients and internal teams
- Responding to service disruptions and adjusting schedules as needed
- Managing incoming communications (calls, texts, emails, chat, and radio) professionally and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service to passengers and clients
- Maintaining accurate service logs, reports, and documentation
- Collaborating with road supervisors and management to support daily operations
- Assisting with additional operational duties as needed
What We’re Looking for as a Transportation Coordinator:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or a call center environment
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), scheduling tools, and CRM systems
- Familiarity with navigation tools, dispatch software, and general computer applications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous experience as a dispatcher, customer service representative, or similar role is a plus
- Willingness to learn and grow through hands-on training and collaboration
