Transportation is a critical part of that mission. As our Transportation Coordinator, you will help ensure individuals have access to employment, community activities, appointments, and essential services while maintaining a safe, compliant, and reliable agency fleet. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, problem-solving, coordinating multiple priorities, and responding calmly to unexpected transportation challenges. What You'll Do Fleet Compliance & Maintenance Maintain compliance with INDOT 5310 Grant requirementsCoordinate annual Braun lift inspectionsCoordinate annual preventative maintenance inspectionsConduct ongoing vehicle safety inspectionsCoordinate regular oil changes and scheduled fleet maintenanceAssist the Asset Manager with required transportation documentation and reporting Transportation Coordination Assist individuals with transportation resources, including: City bus passesUber transportationMedicaid Waiver-funded transportation services Support transportation billing requirements and documentationCoordinate transportation solutions to ensure continuity of servicesHelp individuals maintain access to employment, appointments, and community activities Vehicle Breakdowns & Emergency Response Lead and coordinate roadside and parking lot breakdown response effortsArrange vehicle repairs and service appointmentsCoordinate replacement vehicles when neededRespond effectively to transportation-related emergencies and service disruptions Driver Training & Safety Conduct driving tests for new hiresComplete post-accident driving evaluations and re-testsProvide vehicle safety training for agency employeesConduct post-accident and required safety retrainingPromote safe vehicle operation and compliance with agency transportation policiesSupport a culture of safety and accountability across the organization Pay & Benefits $20.00 - $22.00 per hourFull-Time PositionHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Holiday PayRetirement Plan / 401(k)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Professional Development Opportunities
