Warren Oil has an immediate opening at our West Memphis, AR location for a Transportation Coordinator. This individual is responsible to safely and efficiently perform all processes related to the area of Bulk Inventory Material Handling. This role is the critical foundation of the Warren Oil operations team and is one in which strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills are key. Resolve problems, build a solid working relationship with all customers in order to understand their total service needsIdentify service improvements to exceed the expectations of the customer. Communicate effectively and build a professional relationship with carriers, shippers and internal/external customers to strive to exceed their total service expectationSelect cost effective carriers using available optimization tools to include rate negotiationUnderstand and complete all necessary customer specific tasksAct as a positive role model for team members by providing support and assistance as neededAssist with scheduling daily and weekly routes (Manually/AS400)Track shipmentsDevelop a superior level of customer and carrier relations.Ensure timely pickups and deliveries of freight.Provide constant communication and service to our partnered customerMonitor and report on transportation costs (Accessorial)Keep organized records of vehicles, schedules and completed ordersPerform other duties as assigned Training Coordinator Qualifications:Minimum of Associate Degree or relevant work experienceMinimum of two year customer facing work experienceTransportation, supply chain or logistics experience is a plusAdvanced technical/computer skills with the ability to use at least 3 to 4 different programs simultaneouslyCreative problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to prioritize workload and thrive in a fast paced team environmentAble to work independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAn innovative, goal-oriented and results driven approach
