Transportation Design Project Manager

Overview

Lead and deliver traffic engineering projects, managing technical work, client coordination, and project performance

Responsibilities

• Manage traffic projects from start to finish; support multi-disciplinary efforts
• Lead traffic analysis, safety studies, and traffic impact assessments
• Perform modeling (Synchro, VISSIM, SIDRA) and develop forecasts
• Identify deficiencies and recommend mitigation strategies
• Develop MOT plans, signing, pavement marking, and signal designs (MUTCD)
• Present findings to clients, agencies, and public stakeholders
• Oversee junior staff and support proposals/business development

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering
• PE license required; PTOE required, RSP a plus
• 5+ years in traffic operations/safety (studies, signal design/timing, feasibility work)

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Yankton, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
