Transportation Driver/STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant)PRN | As needed | Hours typically vary between 8am- 3pmPay: $15/hr to $16.80/hr (Based on Experience)This role offers opportunities to build meaningful connections with our residents in a friendly, supportive environment.What You'll Do as a Transportation Driver/STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant):Ambulates residents in accordance with individual plans of care.Schedules medical appointments.Toilets residents when out on appointments if necessary.Clean vehicles inside and out as needed.Perform monthly safety check on all vehicles.Record all pertinent information in residents record. Examples being: EMR's, Restorative Care, Food Intake records, behavior notes and other written documents.Protect and maintain all work areas in accordance with facility safety policies.Perform daily tasks in accordance with infection control and standard precaution policies and procedures.Ambulate residents in accordance with individual plans of care.Prepare, assist and transport residents to and from meals, activities and therapy sessions.Assist, supervise and feed residents at meal time.Bathe residents in accordance with plans of care.Assist residents with dressing and undressing.Combs hair, shaves and applies appropriate appliances for residents.Perform and assist with passive, active ROM exercises, and Restorative ProgramsPasses fresh ice and water, extra fluids and AM or HS nourishments.Takes and records weight, temperatures, fluid intake and output, vital signs and other pertinent data.Checks that bed pans, urinals, and collection hats are stored according to facility policies.Requirements for a Transportation Driver/STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant):Must be at least 21 years old. STNA Certification required.
