In the role of Transportation EITDesigner, we count on you to:
• Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural transportation projects • Take responsibility for plan development of Mobility and Safety projects, including but not limited to Transportation Management Plans, Traffic Signals, and Signing and Delineation • Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, quantities, and cost estimates, specifications, and calculations • Provide assistance with other transportation projects and groups as needed • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field • EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months • Able to develop designs using MicroStation, GEOPAK, or other transportation design software packages • Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD • Familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Open Roads Designer • MS Office experience • Preference is given to local candidates
