The ideal candidate will have expertise in roadway design, as well as a solid understanding of DOT standards and regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects across the state.Responsibilities:Lead and manage roadway design projects from planning to constructionCollaborate with DOT to ensure project compliance with state guidelines and regulationsPrepare and review design plans, specifications, and cost estimatesConduct traffic analysis and provide solutions to improve transportation efficiency and safetyCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including surveyors, planners, and contractorsManage client relationships and maintain project schedules and budgetsMentor junior engineers and assist with technical developmentQualifications:Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina5-20 years of experience in transportation engineering, with a focus on roadway designStrong knowledge of DOT design standards and proceduresProficient in industry design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D)Excellent communication and project management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchOpportunities for career advancement and professional developmentYou can expect a quick response once I receive your resume.
