Transportation (Highway/Roadway) EngineerThe Transportation (Highway/Roadway) Engineer will design and oversee highway and roadway projects, working under a Project Manager and collaborating with CAD designers and clients to deliver resilient infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesServe in a technical role under the direction of a Project Manager on the engineering development of urban and rural highway/roadway projectsOversee the work of CAD Designers, and possibly other EITsPrepare detailed engineering designs for roadway and highway projectsParticipate in activities ranging from site feasibility analysis to final design and through the construction phaseAssume some project management duties and interact with clients as neededPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsA minimum of 3 years experience in all aspects of roadway engineering designRequired QualificationsBachelor's degreePrevious experience in all aspects of roadway engineering designProfessional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license)Hands‑on experience with Highways and Roads CAD engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation, Open Roads Designer, Autodesk Infraworks, and Civil3DMS Office knowledgeExcellent communication and organizational skillsExperience with urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, concept alignments, geometrical layout, and CAD base alignment plansCommitment to being an active participant of the employee‑owned cultureLocation: United States - North Dakota - Bismarck#J-18808-Ljbffr
