This is an excellent opportunity for an early- to mid-level engineer to work on a diverse range of roadway and aviation projects while learning from experienced professionals and building a rewarding career in transportation engineering.

Key ResponsibilitiesWhat Youll Do As a Transportation Engineer, youll play a key role in designing, analyzing, and developing transportation infrastructure projects that improve how communities move and connect. You will:

  • Support senior engineers and project managers in preparing transportation design plans for state, municipal, commercial, industrial, and residential projects - all within a 3D digital environment.
  • Perform and review design calculations ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Contribute to the development of design packages including roadway geometry, drainage, grading, and plan preparation.
  • Assist with early project phases including feasibility studies, permitting, and cost estimating.
  • Support aviation projects contributing to runway and airfield design and analysis.

Skills, Knowledge, and ExpertiseWhat You Bring

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Successful completion of the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
  • Experience working with OpenRoads Designer.
  • Familiarity with ODOT Design Standards.
  • A strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to grow your technical and project management skills.
