We are looking for skilled Transportation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Manager or Principal on a variety of transportation projects, as well as other public and private site/land development work as needed.Typical responsibilities include preparing plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules. You will also prepare calculations and reports for various disciplines and phases of transportation projects, such as horizontal and vertical profiles, cross sections, signing and striping plans, stormwater drainage and pipe sizing, water systems, sanitary sewer systems, grading, erosion control, and permitting. You will coordinate directly with clients, contractors, industry partners, and jurisdictions, and support construction administration through site visits, coordination meetings, and inspections.Required QualificationsRegistered Civil Engineer in the State of Oregon or ability to obtain within six monthsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience6+ years experience in the planning, design and/or construction supervision of transportation, public works, commercial, or storm water management projectsProficient with computer applications/design software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft WordStrong technical, organizational, , and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate on large projects with team members, consultants, and clientsCapacity to work independently for extended periods with limited supervisionDesired Experience, Skills, and RegistrationsFamiliarity with design standards for the Portland-metro area and ODOTProfessional Engineer registration in Washington (PE)Experience with Vehicle Tracking, ArcGIS, MS Project, and BluebeamExperience with MicroStation and OpenRoadsExperience implementing Low Impact Development (LID) features on public or private projectsSalary Range$95,000-$120,000 depending on experience.
