Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Transportation Engineer to support roadway design projects across various stages of the project lifecycle. This individual will work within CAD platforms, with a preference for Bentley MicroStation OpenRoads Designer (Civil 3D experience is also acceptable with a willingness to learn ORD). The engineer will take ownership of assigned projects, develop design models and full plan sets, and collaborate closely with project managers and team members to align on scope, schedule, and deliverables. Within a collaborative team of approximately 25 professionals, the individual will typically support one to two projects at a time, participate in weekly coordination meetings, and operate with a level of autonomy that scales with experience. This opportunity is open to candidates with approximately 1–20 years of experience, with expectations tailored accordingly, including increased ownership, complexity, and mentorship responsibilities at more experienced levels.Success in this role requires strong technical proficiency in roadway modeling, an understanding of DOT standards and highway design principles, and experience with cost estimating.
