WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Performs difficult work overseeing all activities associated with the design and construction of Town projects; provides technical and supervisory guidance for a staff of engineering and surveying technicians and other professionals; works with engineers, surveyors, and contractors to ensure projects conform to Town ordinances and specifications. Work includes designing infrastructure improvements related to streets and utilities; developing design plans; providing specifications for Town construction projects; estimating and budgeting for projects and operating costs of division; and creating and administering construction contracts.
This position reports to the Transportation & Infrastructure Director.
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
