The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for duties associated with keeping the fleet compliant, organized, and audit-ready always. Work closely with vendors, drivers, supervisors, and Transportation Manager.

• Coordinating pickup/drop-off of equipment to and from vendors
• Ensure all equipment has up-to-date licenses, registrations, compliance forms and stickers
• Coordinate preventative maintenance with vendors by deadlines
• Equipping equipment with telematic units
• Managing HOS compliance through telematic systems
• Holding vendors accountable for timely repairs through collaboration and communication
• Upholding driver compliance and safety
• Organizing and entering documents compliant-sensitive information
• Perform clerical assistance as needed
• Sort, file, fax, copy and/or distribute paperwork
• Must maintain good attendance.
• Maintain safe work practices.
• Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
• Other duties and special projects as requested.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous fleet management and knowledge of DOT regulations functions preferred.
• Must be proficient with MS Office.
• Strong data-entry with high rate of accuracy preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

• Excellent communication, grammar, verbal and writing skills.
• Must be resourceful and well organized with an ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Above average telephone skills with experience focusing on customer satisfaction (internal and external).
• High energy level, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, and flexible.
