The duties include, but are not limited to:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a high school graduate from a regionally accredited school or have GED equivalent.
An Associate's Degree and/or eight-years of Transportation Operations experience is preferred.
Must possess a minimum of eight (8) years of Edulog Routing Software experience including use of Maris, boundary planning, and bus routing in both graphic and tabular modes, and demonstrate proficiency in the same.
Must possess a valid Alabama Commercial Driver's License and State School Bus Driver's Certificate within six months of date of hire.
Must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and be very detail-oriented.
Must possess excellent communication skills for short and long term projects.
Must have excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Must be a self-starter, performing a wide range of functions without boundaries.
Must be insurable as determined by MCPSS personnel, into private and business driving records, within any three (3) year time frame.

Salary Range: From/To Beginning pay - $68,685.00

Applicants selected for classified positions must undergo (or have undergone) an ABI/FBI criminal history background check (fingerprinting administered through sites selected and approved by the MCPSS and State of Alabama Education Department) and be declared suitable and fit to teach under state law. Applicants selected must also pass a drug-screening test via forms provided by Human Resources during the selection process.
