    Description

    Worthington Enterprises is looking for a hard-working student to assist its transportation and supply chain functions at our manufacturing facility in Closter, NJ. This internship will provide hands-on experience in understanding end-to-end supply chain operations, including freight, tariffs, and their impact on product cost and availability.

    This position is a 40-hour-per-week, in-office role throughout the summer. This position does not offer relocation or a housing stipend.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare data and insights for monthly meetings with the Sales organization, focusing on customer demand, service levels, and supply chain performance
    • Support the team with analysis for monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings, including demand planning and supply balancing
    • Analyze freight costs, tariffs, and logistics-related charges to understand their impact on product cost and delivery performance
    • Assist in evaluating inventory levels, lead times, and supplier performance to improve supply chain efficiency
    • Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to understand the full product lifecycle
    • Help improve visibility into key supply chain metrics, including cost drivers, service levels, and operational efficiency
    • Support pricing and cost-to-serve analysis by incorporating logistics and supply chain inputs
    • Perform various ad hoc supply chain and operations analysis tasks

    Desired Experience:

    • Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, or a related field
    • Strong interest in manufacturing, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain operations
    • Familiarity with purchase orders (POs), inventory management, and transportation/logistics concepts
    • Analytical mindset with strong Excel/data skills
    • Immediate and ongoing availability
    • 23 years of previous internship or relevant experience preferred
