JOB SUMMARY
Manages or performs work associated with the efficient transportation of materials and products from origin to the destination.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifying and selecting the most appropriate and cost-effective transportation.
- Controlling and tracking critical material transportation.
- Establishing emergency plans.
- Analyzing current transportation operations practices to determine process and cost improvement opportunities.
