Per Diem School Van Driver

(CH, DR, ES, and Reg 4 Schools)

Summary:

The District is seeking responsible, dependable, and safety-conscious individuals to serve as Per Diem School Van Drivers. This position provides transportation for students to and from school, specialized programs, and other approved educational activities on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children and demonstrate patience, professionalism, and a strong commitment to student safety.

Schedule

? Per diem/as-needed position

? Flexible hours based on district transportation needs.

? Morning, afternoon, and occasional midday routes may be available.

? Opportunity for additional hours based on district needs.

Requirements

? Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with at least a three-year clean record. A "V" endorsement must be obtained and maintained throughout employment.

? Must obtain a R-360 bus safety training certificate.

? Must be at least 21 years of age.

? Must be trained in CPR and First Aid, and maintain a valid CPR and First Aid certificate throughout employment.

? Must be subject to a criminal history check, finger printing and DCF Central Registry check will also be conducted.
