The role is responsible for overseeing various transportation engineering tasks, ensuring compliance with TxDOT and other governmental agency requirements.
Key Responsibilities
--Conduct design calculations, prepare plans, and develop schematic designs for road and highway projects in collaboration with TxDOT and local government entities.
--Generate schematics and Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E).
--Collaborate with the leadership team to provide GEC/Program Management support to multiple agencies and TxDOT throughout all project development phases.
--Self-perform and manage both internal team members and external consultants across a range of activities, encompassing programming, funding, environmental document review, design/design reviews, cost estimating, scheduling, construction oversight, right-of-way (ROW), utilities, and long-term operations & maintenance.
Required Qualifications
--A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering & (PE) license in the state of Texas
--A minimum of 5-10 years of experience working on transportation and roadway projects.
--Proficiency in the use of MicroStation and GEOPAK.
