Oxford Solutions is partnering with a civil engineering consulting firm to hire a Project Manager (Transportation Infrastructure) for a direct hire opportunity. This is a leadership role for an experienced civil engineer who thrives on delivering roadway and transportation improvement projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities
- Lead transportation engineering projects including roadway, highway, traffic, and related infrastructure improvements
- Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and staffing to ensure successful delivery
- Oversee QA/QC processes and conduct technical reviews of plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Coordinate with internal design teams, subconsultants, and public agencies to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and managing expectations
- Support proposal development and contribute to business development initiatives
- Guide and mentor engineers and technical staff, promoting collaboration and accountability
- Ensure compliance with applicable DOT standards and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
- 7+ years of transportation design and project management experience
- Experience managing roadway, highway, traffic, or related transportation projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain
- Working knowledge of state DOT standards (PennDOT and/or NYSDOT experience preferred)
- Proficiency with MS Office; MicroStation experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and contribute to project pursuits
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
