Youll manage projects, track progress and budgets, and follow GDOT systems and procedures. Core Responsibilities • Use Microsoft Office platforms to manage projects and track project progress. • Effectively apply project management tools and practices. • Manage projects and achieve project milestones. • Coordinate project budget and perform funds management. • Implement Georgia Department of Transportation systems, policies, and procedures.

Requirements Youll thrive here if you:

  • Have a Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of GDOT transportation experience, or a relevant masters degree, or 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, local governments, clients, and other stakeholders; facilitate constructive dialogue to resolve issues and reach consensus.
  • Adapt to new challenges, demonstrate strong attention to detail, analyze problems, and develop practical solutions while working independently on multiple tasks.
  • Use standard office equipment, exhibit high-level written and verbal communication skills, and are self-motivated and results-oriented; occasional local travel required with primarily in-office schedule (hybrid option negotiable).
  • Experience with GDOT Plan Development Process and/or combination of all GDOT processes.
  • Experience in one of the following fields: business management, program control, or infrastructure experience.
  • Two-year experience of successful project management principles, practices, and processes.
  • Familiarity with related technological developments and can integrate new technology.
