This role will focus on project management, team leadership, and business development, contributing to the delivery of complex transportation infrastructure across the region.What You'll Do:Lead pursuit and project management efforts for bridge, roadway, freeway, highway corridor, and interchange planning/design projectsOversee project execution to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality deliverablesProvide technical leadership and mentorship to project teamsReview engineering documents for compliance with scope, standards, and DEA's quality expectationsHelp attract, develop, and retain top talent, while managing performance and supporting career growthCollaborate with the Group Leader to achieve business metrics including sales, backlog, utilization, profitability, and client satisfactionEnsure adherence to DEA's firmwide tools, processes, and policies related to project budgeting, contracting, and quality managementWhat You Bring15+ years of transportation engineering experience, with at least 3 years in project management or as a design leadStrong background working with public agencies such as ITD, WSDOT, and LHTACExpertise in roadway or bridge design, including hands-on experience with OpenRoads DesignerBachelors degree in Civil EngineeringLicensed PE in Idaho and Washington or ability to obtain within 6 monthsWhy DEA?We offer more than just a role-we offer a platform for leadership, innovation, and professional growth.
