Essential Job Functions

  • Support the regional selection, qualification, and onboarding of secure yard locations in alignment with company security standards
  • Coordinate the completion of required documentation, qualification checklists, and validation activities for submission to Global Transportation Security
  • Participate in site inspections, assessments, and secure yard reviews in partnership with Global Transportation Security and Regional Security leadership
  • Maintain visibility into the approval status of yard locations, including approved, conditional, and non-approved sites within the assigned region
  • Promote consistent implementation of secure yard policies, procedures, and compliance requirements across the region
  • Monitor adherence to established security standards, including perimeter protection, access control, guarding, surveillance, lighting, and recordkeeping
  • Partner with Operations, yard operators, and vendors to identify, address, and resolve compliance gaps
  • Serve as the regional point of contact for secure yard vendors and operators, supporting onboarding, compliance validation, and security-related training
  • Monitor vendor performance against security expectations and escalate non-compliance concerns in accordance with established procedures
  • Support the execution of regional audit and inspection activities, including documentation of findings, corrective action follow-up, and maintenance of audit-ready records
  • Assist with regional risk assessments by identifying vulnerabilities, operational trends, and exposure points related to yard operations and transportation flows
  • Support the response, documentation, and escalation of yard-related incidents, thefts, and security anomalies in coordination with GSOC, Operations, and Corporate Security
  • Coordinate secure yard and transportation security training for regional stakeholders and maintain training records to support compliance and audit requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, business administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience

  • 5-8 years of experience in:

  • Transportation or logistics security

  • Physical security operations

  • Vendor or facility oversight

  • Experience in security audits and compliance programs

  • Risk assessment methodologies

  • Program Management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and time management abilities

  • Knowledge of:

  • CTPAT, TAPA, and supply chain security standards

  • HVHR cargo risk environment

  • Physical security systems (access control, CCTV, guarding)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or global enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with TAPA, C TPAT, ISO, or similar security frameworks
  • Professional certifications (CPP, PSP, PCI, CBCP, or similar)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel to transportation sites and facilities as needed
  • Extended periods of standing, walking, and occasional lifting
  • Use of computers and standard office equipment
  • Job requires the ability to use vision, adjust focus and work on a standard computer screen
  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment
  • Job will require regular and punctual attendance as well as presence on-site at the assigned work location
