Position Summary
The Transportation Services Supervisor oversees the daily operations of transportation services, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant passenger transportation. This role supervises transportation staff, coordinates scheduling and service delivery, and performs transportation duties as needed. The Supervisor ensures adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Essential Functions
The following duties are fundamental to the position:
Supervision and Leadership
Supervise, train, and evaluate Transportation Drivers and related staff
Provide coaching, guidance, and assist with disciplinary action as needed
Monitor staff performance and escalate concerns to ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures
Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new transportation staff
Ensure complete and accurate time records are maintained by transportation staff, and approve timecards bi-weekly.
Serve as a resource and escalation point for drivers
Schedule drivers and ensure drivers have what they need to maintain their vehicles.
Monitor staff compliance with department expectations regarding policies and protocols, logs, and address issues as they arise.
Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and customer service

Minimum Qualifications
Preferred: The patients of PTH speak many languages, including Spanish, Punjabi, Hindi, Hmong, and others. Bi-lingual candidates may qualify for additional pay based on proven ability to communicate in a second language
