Notice is hereby given that the following position is available in the Harper Creek Community School District, Battle Creek, Michigan.

Harper Creek Community School is seeking a Transportation Supervisor responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and evaluating all district transportation operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation of students.

Full-year, 260-day exempt position with a salary of $58,000-$62,000, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and/or Experience:

• High School or GED.
• Prefer someone with a minimum of three to five years of progressively responsible experience in a school transportation environment.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, and Other Requirements

• Valid Michigan drivers license with a positive driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain certification as required by the State of Michigan for a school transportation supervisor.
• Ability to obtain a CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
• Pass MDOT physical examination
• Successfully complete criminal background checks as required by law
