Job Description
An established health care system is seeking a Trauma ICU NP/PA in Camden County, New Jersey. This role provides inpatient trauma critical care support through rounds, consults, discharge coordination, and clinical support for nurses and care teams.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Sunday
- Hours: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Setting: Inpatient acute care
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient trauma ICU advanced practice support across the unit and step-down setting.
- Complete daily rounds and assist with trauma consult services.
- Support patient discharges, prescriptions, and ongoing care coordination.
- Respond to clinical questions from nursing staff and collaborate with the care team.
- Work closely with lead APPs to support coverage in a high-volume trauma environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Active New Jersey license.
- For Nurse Practitioners, Acute Care NP certification is required.
- DEA registration.
- At least 1 year of experience in trauma and/or ICU care.
Desired Skills:
- Trauma and ICU experience.
- Two or more years of advanced practice experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience working with inpatient trauma populations.
