What We Offer
About the Role
As a Trauma Registrar, you will serve as a key member of the Trauma Program, managing trauma registry operations and providing the critical data that supports quality improvement, trauma center verification and designation, injury prevention initiatives, and system-wide performance evaluation.
Your work will help identify trends, improve processes, and ensure that trauma patients receive the highest quality care possible.
Key Responsibilities
Abstract and analyze trauma patient data for inclusion in the Trauma Registry
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for state agencies, regulatory bodies, and trauma organizations
Support quality improvement initiatives through accurate data collection and analysis
Assist with hospital trauma center designation and verification activities
Ensure timely submission of data to state and national trauma databases, including:
National Trauma Data Bank (NTDB)
Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP)
Maintain trauma program documentation, policies, and committee records as applicable
Participate in registry validation and data accuracy initiatives
Support injury prevention and trauma education efforts through data analysis and reporting
