Research Medical Center has partnered with Extant Healthcare to manage their growing trauma program. With over 17 years’ experience in trauma management, Extant Healthcare was founded and is still led by trauma surgeons. We are financially stable with immense growth opportunities on the horizon.

Trauma Program:

• 590-bed Acute Care Facility
• Level I Trauma Center (ACS & State Verified)
• Hybrid OR (16 surgical suites, includes 1 designated for trauma)
• 32 bed open ICU (16 surg + 16 medical)
• HCA hospital network of 5 hospitals funnels into Research MC
• Trauma registry avg 2300/ yr (20% penetrating)

Trauma Surgeon Criteria:

• Board Certified Surgery with Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship required
