How you'll make an impact in this role

Ascension Seton is looking for a PA or AGACNP for our Trauma Surgery Department.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients at Ascension Seton Medical Center Hays located in Kyle, TX.

• Join an established team of physicians and APPs

• Practice setting: inpatient

• patient population 15 years and up

• Employed position within a nonprofit health system

• Deliver comprehensive direct care by conducting thorough patient histories, physical assessments, and preventative screenings to build an accurate picture of each patient''s current health status.

• Formulate precise treatment plans by ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic procedures, ensuring timely intervention and continuity of care under physician supervision.

• Manage ongoing health conditions through direct therapeutic interventions and meticulous documentation, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient care journey.

• Empower patients and families by providing clear counseling on preventative health, treatment pathways, and community resources to improve long-term wellness and self-care.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.

Education:

• Master''s degree of Nursing required.
