Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acuity Adaptable ICU position requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Critical Care Unit of a hospital, an acuity adaptable unit rather than a pure ICU
• 13-week contract assignment
• Shift schedule of 07:00-19:30 with every other weekend and every other holiday required
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• ICU experience including post cath patients required
• CRRT experience required
• Competency in sheath pulls and PA catheters required
• Balloon pump and Swan-Ganz catheter experience a plus
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by location
