• Position: Acute Care Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Setting: Acute Care Float Pool
• Location: Mountain Home, Arkansas
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week, with 48 hours per week considered
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,820 - $1,910
• Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Stepdown experience required
• Critical care experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Current Arkansas RN license or Compact State RN license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
• BLS required
• ACLS, NIHSS, and Nursys required with submission
• License in hand required with submission
• Ability to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting the offer
• Cerner experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as an Acute Care Registered Nurse in a float pool environment
• Support a variety of hospital units, including Med Surg, Telemetry, Surg/Ortho, PCU, ER Hold, ER, Behavioral Health, and Inpatient Rehab
• May care for pediatric patients when floated to the ER, depending on experience
• Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver evidence-based care
• Promote a healing, patient-centered environment across multiple care settings
• Demonstrate leadership, adaptability, and strong critical thinking in a fast-paced hospital setting
